Municipal Water Treatment Plant.
The pad was sinking, causing stress on the plumbing. Note the large voids under the pad.
In addition, the entire South side of the pumphouse had dropped down over 6". The city was told they needed to bring in a Helical Pier company to the tune of $25,000+.
We had to go inside and raise the entire south side of the pumphouse as the whole thing had dropped.
We found some major voids indicating that even if they had used the Helical Pier company, the problems would have remained.
Care had to be taken so as not to damage any piping or plumbing.
We raised it and restored the side compaction.
Once we got the pumphouse raised we addressed the major voids under the pads and raised them to grade.
Another successful job and no damage was done to any plumbing or equipment. AND, the job was done right.
Roy curbline had dropped 4" causing major water ponding. Moss and stagnet water remained all summer and an ice dam in the winter.
We solved the problem. The homeowner was so happy she baked us a pit. Nine years later it's still right where we put it.
Bad situation in Pleasant View.
Problem solved.
Curb at USU. This whole section had dropped 2" and water wouldn't drain.
We raised the whole section, including the sidewalk, and now water runs properly.
A casualty of the heavy equipment doing winter snow removal.
They were looking at curb AND drain box removal.
We had to not only raise the curb, repair it, but raise the drain box as well as water had run around it causing erosion.
Problem solved, issues all correct. We saved them over $8,000 on this one job, and seven years later it's still there.
Section at USU in a walkway heading to a lower parking lot.
Trip hazard eliminates.
We have done quite a bit of work at USU.
there aren't too many places where you can walk that you don't see our handywork.
Fortunately this city doesn't grind.
We fix it and it stays fixed.
A very common issue we see.
With our process it's an easy fix.
A common situation. Note the curb is down and it opened up a water channel to go around the drain.
Water was entering on the sides of the drain box from the curb as well as the top. Fortunately they called up to fix it before the drain was damaged.
As issue with water going through the curb and into the manhole. Note this has caused the whole area to sink.
We removed the manhole lid just to make sure.
Problem solved and water drainage issue corrected.
An area in Roy City where the majority of the curb radius was sunken and doing some serious water ponding.
It had been that way for awhile.
We do a process of raising slightly and "chasing" the water out of the curb to get proper drainage.
A crosswalk with major issues.
People were tripping.
Problem solved.
We also did the lateral as it was ponding water.
Water was going through the seam and down the side of the drain box. Left unchecked it would eventually take out the drain.
Problem solved.
Another issue where we raised both the curb and sidewalk. Note the discoloration where the water was ponding, now it flows.
Fortuntely they called us before the grind guys go ahold of this.
We fixed it properly.
Curb radius had dropped over two inches.
Problem solved and water draining properly.
One of the first jobs done for Nibley City clear back in 2006. The whole curb had dropped 3" and water was ponding.
This is a current picture and it's still right where we placed it.
This curb had to be raised AND tilted. Simply taking it up would have caused an even bigger issue at the drain.
Problem solved, drainage corrected and no further water ponding will happen.
water had entered through the cracks and seams causingthe entire area to sink. Not the section of asphalt that was laid tryng to solve the issue.
Damage was ongoing.
We raised it to grade, solved the void issue and stopped the damage.
Serious sloping issue at the USU softball part.
Both dogouts had major issues. Note the mark on the wall to the left that shows the original level of the concrete.
Both dugouts fixed.
Concrete to grade, water erosion halted.
This section is still under construction.
As you can imagine, with over 24 years under our belt we have a LOT to show.
Nobody else in the Rocky Mountain West can do the kind of work we do on so many different types of issues.
