		<description><![CDATA[<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman"><STRONG>Special Notes:</STRONG></FONT></DIV>  <UL>  <LI><FONT face="Times New Roman"><STRONG>We use BASECRETE, a proprietary mixture of rock and gravel mixed with a grout.&nbsp;</STRONG></FONT>   <UL>  <LI><FONT face="Times New Roman"><STRONG>When&nbsp;</STRONG></FONT><FONT face="Times New Roman"><STRONG>injected under pressure (our machine can generate up to&nbsp;600 psi of pressure)&nbsp;this material forms a base that is nearly impossible to compress.</STRONG></FONT>   <LI><FONT face="Times New Roman"><STRONG>UDOT&nbsp;used&nbsp;a similar mixture of material&nbsp;under the new construction on I-15 in both Weber and Davis Counties&nbsp;because it will stand up to the heavy truck traffic.</STRONG></FONT></LI></UL>  <LI><STRONG><FONT face="Times New Roman">We&nbsp;</FONT></STRONG><STRONG><FONT face="Times New Roman">recommend being leery of competitors using merely MUD&nbsp;as it will break down.&nbsp; </FONT></STRONG>  <UL>  <LI><STRONG><FONT face="Times New Roman">These companies are referred to as "Mudjackers" and usually&nbsp;don't offer warranties for a reason.</FONT></STRONG>   <LI><STRONG><FONT face="Times New Roman">We also recommend against companies using concrete.&nbsp; Because of the current&nbsp;expense of concrete these companies usually&nbsp;inject only enough to put in some pressure resulting in the "ant hill" or "traffic cone" effect noted&nbsp;below.</FONT></STRONG>   <LI><STRONG><FONT face="Times New Roman">In addition, concrete needs to be a certain consistency to maintain it's integrity.&nbsp; When used in this process it&nbsp;must be watered down to flow through the smaller diameter nozzle which dramatically changes it's&nbsp;integrity.</FONT></STRONG></LI></UL>  <LI><STRONG><FONT face="Times New Roman">We&nbsp;</FONT></STRONG><STRONG><FONT face="Times New Roman">also recommend being leery of competitors who don't use construction grade equipment&nbsp;to&nbsp;inject material under high pressure as these machines&nbsp;don't compact the material or fill the&nbsp;voids.</FONT></STRONG>   <UL>  <LI><STRONG><FONT face="Times New Roman">Some operators&nbsp;use an outside force to raise the slab and then pump&nbsp;a small amount of concrete into the most&nbsp;raised edge&nbsp;creating small "cones" or "ant hills"&nbsp;under the surface.&nbsp; This support is usually only temporary as the&nbsp;voids&nbsp;are not filled, which also causes&nbsp;cracking&nbsp;problems down the road.</FONT></STRONG></LI></UL></LI></UL>]]></description>
